1994 National - Olympia, Washington

Zorro won his first trials back to back winning both the Open
All-Age and the Amateur All-Age at the LASHA trial in 1989
at 2 years of age. He won his last trial at 10 years of age in

He won 17 Open All-Age trials in between for a total of 20
wins lifetime. He placed in numerous trials for a total of 161
Open All-Age points.Zorro was High Point Open dog in the US in

1994 and 1995 consecutively. He also placed 4th and 2nd in the
US Open National Championship in 1994 and 1995 respectively.

Zorro never won a National but it’s worth noting that the
year he took 2nd he was down with a temperature of 106
the day before the trial started and recovered and went on to
place 2nd in that National Championship with over 100

Zorro was bred on a limited basis to trial dogs although he
was a very popular stud in the Gun Dog world. Although he
was not bred a lot in the trial game he has many grandsons
and granddaughters winning and placing in trials today
including 2 National Amateur Champions in the last 3
Nationals from 2006-2008.
